The book “India: Preparation for the World of Work -  Education System and School to Work Transition” edited by Prof. Matthias Pilz, University of Cologne, Germany was launched on 12th Feb 1016 at IIM Bangalore. Prof. Matthias Pilz, Editor of the book, Professor and Director of Center for Modern Indian Studies at the Cologne University, Germany, Prof. Nayana Tara and Prof. Kumar from IIM Bangalore, along with other renowned authors who contributed for the book, had gathered for the event at IIM Bangalore. Consul General Mr. Jörn Rohde presided over as the Chief Guest at the book launch and called upon the inevitability of bridging the gap in vocational education in India, which will further enhance the idea behind ‘Make in India’ and ‘Skill India’ missions.
