Technology start-ups (hardware & software), last year students with entrepreneurial spirits and existing enterprises that seek to develop a new idea can apply now!

Given the importance of start-ups for industrial and economic growth, the Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC) Bhubaneswar is launching its incubation services with a 3-day start-up bootcamp scheduled between the 16 - 18 August 2017. The bootcamp is organised in partnership with Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME).

Bhubaneswar has been a striving industry hub with industries operating in the engineering and pharmaceutical sector, silver jewelry making, etc. Start-ups play an important role to foster regional economic development. Although a number of incubators have emerged in recent years, states like Orissa remain mainly underserved with only a few incubators.

Given this, the Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC) Bhubaneswar is launching its incubation services with a 3-day start-up bootcamp. The bootcamp will commence with the launching event where the selected start-ups will present their ideas to the audience and will continue with hands-on practical session for the selected start-ups.

If you already have an idea in the manufacturing sector or are working on your venture or are diversifying you product / business model, join the bootcamp to refine your idea with the help of tools such as design thinking and business modeling. International and national experts will evaluate your product and your business model and will give you valuable inputs.

The participants of the bootcamp will have access to CTTC’s state of-the-art facilities and its services such tool designing, tool production, component manufacturing and heat treatment among others.
The programme has been initiated within the framework of the Indo-German Bilateral Cooperation programme on Innovation Promotion in MSMEs being implemented by GIZ and office of DC-MSME, MoMSME, Government of India.
