DAAD New Passage to India 2015: Cohort II

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) promotes the study and research visits of Indian students to Germany, within the framework of the DAAD Program "A New Passage to India". The aim of the program is to initiate academic cooperation and develop intercultural competency on both sides. Funded by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and administered by the University of Göttingen.

Indian students pursuing either Master or PhD degree in all disciplines (excluding medicine and engineering) from selected Indian partner universities of the University of Göttingen can apply for exchange scholarships for study or research at the University of Göttingen:

Key features of the scholarship programme are:

·         Duration:   Master (4 months) : PhD (2 months)
·         A monthly financial assistance of 810 EURO for Master students
          1000 EURO for PhD students to subsidise living expenses|

·         Health insurance up to 60 EURO/month inclusive in the above scholarships
·         A lump sum travel subsidy of 550 EURO
·         Student nominations accepted only from Institute International co-ordinators
·         Choose from a range of Study programs at Uni Göttingen
