Pilot Scheme 2015

The first summer school organized by the International Office in India took place in the Himalayas in 2015. After a short visit to Delhi, the participants traveled to Dehradun and stayed in an Ashram in Anjanisain to learn more about North Indian culture and begin to practice Hindi. Including trips to the yoga-capital Rishikesh, Mussoorie, and Haridwar, the Summer School in the Himalayas was a full success. It will take place again in 2016.

Summer School in the Himalayas 2016

Dates:
August 17 through August 30, 2016

Schedule:
In the morning: language class in Hindi (beginners) and lectures about Indian culture, politics, literature, and history
In the afternoon: cultural activities and excursions

The Summer School will take place at different locations: 
Delhi, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Anjanisain, and Haridwar
