Professor Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Jörg Hacker, President, German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina presented a lecture on the topic “Science and Society – Infectious Diseases as an Example” on 4th February 2016 at the German House, New Delhi. The lecture was conducted under the banner of Science Circle Lecture series and was jointly organized by the German House for Research and Innovation - DWIH New Delhi, the Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany in India and the German National Academy of Sciences – Leopoldina.

GIZ and Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) are collaborating on ‘Capacity enhancement on preparation of City Sanitation Plan (CSP) and Septage Management’ for city officials.
