A one-day Indo-German workshop has been organized by the Earth Science Scientific Organization (ESSO), Ministry of Earth Sciences and Forschungszentrum Juelich in the Helmholtz Assocation at Prithvi Bhavan, New Delhi. Seven German scientists from three different institutes and two leading Indian scientists are making their presentations followed by one-to-one discussions with various Indian stakeholders.

This International German Alumni Summer School is being organised by the Centre for Tropical  and   Sub-tropical  Agriculture  and  forestry  (CeTSAF)  and  the  Department  of Conservation Biology,  Georg-August University of Goettingen, in collaboration with the School  of  Environmental  Sciences,  Jawaharlal  Nehru  University,  New  Delhi,  India.  The Summer School is being funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and is a part of the Quality Networks, Biodiversity, Modul 2 Alumni Capacity Building Program.
