The German House for Research and Innovation - DWIH New Delhi in collaboration with National Institute of Design, NID organized the DWIH Indo-German Art Connect from 10th to 18th October 2015 at National Institute of Design (NID) Gandhinagar from 11 am to 8 pm. The 9-days long exhibition showcased selected works from Photography Masterclasses “The Theatre of Real Life”, conducted by acclaimed German photographer Wolfgang Zurborn at NID Gandhinagar (Nov 2013) and Kolkata (Feb 2014). The event reflected international cooperation between India and Germany through the photographs displayed.

The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Astronomy & Astrophysics is a joint structured doctoral program by the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy (MPIfR, Bonn) and the Universities of Bonn and Cologne.

Several PhD positions are available at one of the most vibrant Astronomy centers in Europe for talented students who are about to finish their Masters (or equivalent) thesis in Physics or Astrophysics. The instruction language is English.

The International Office of the University of Cologne (UoC) and UoC Delhi Office are organizing this summer school with the assistance of Ecopath – an initiative of the non-profit organization "Aadhar" (An Association for Development, Harmony and Action Research). The summer school aims to provide first hand exposure on Indian society, i.e. history and culture besides developmental issues and challenges faced by the country, especially the Indian western Himalayan region. Apart from the two days which will be spent in Delhi the summer school takes place in Dehradun – the capital of Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.
