Global Centre of Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability (GCSMUS)

GCSMUS connects over 50 partners from eight world regions. Focusing on Sustainable Development Goal #11 of the Agenda 2030, Sustainable Cities and Communities, the centre works at developing transdisciplinary spatial methods by bringing together research methods from various spatial disciplines, such as sociology, geography, humanities, architecture, urban planning and design and transportation planning.

To establish partnerships between German higher education institutions and higher education institutions in developing and emerging countries for sustainable promotion of structures at partner institutions in teaching and research.

Study Visits for Groups of Foreign Students to Germany

The programme aims to promote the establishment of initial contact between institutions. Exposure to the German higher education system along with an exchange of cultures and ideas is facilitated through visits to at least two German universities by a group of Indian students (minimum – 10, maximum – 15) along with a university faculty.
